XS4 Electronic escutcheons

Description

With a large variety of models, XS4 electronic escutcheons fit virtually any door, including those with narrow frames. They are also suitable for use at fire doors and emergency exits. Totally wire-free and compatible with most European, Scandinavian and ANSI mortise locks and tubular latches.

XS4 Original Euro

The SALTO KS XS4 Original electronic escutcheon is specially designed to fit most Euro profile doors, even narrow profile-framed doors. This version also works with the majority of European mortise locks and cylinders and is an ideal and reliable solution for outdoor, as well as indoor, use.

It offers a large number of models; versions and finishes making it suitable for most applications, with specifically designed models available for high traffic doors, glass doors, emergency exits etc.

XS4 Mini Euro

The SALTO KS XS4 Mini for European DIN mortise locks has been designed to easily retrofit inside mechanical doors with an easy to install and a cost effective electronic escutcheon. The SALTO XS4 Mini European has been specially designed to be compatible with DIN 18251 standard doors prepared for DIN 18250 standard mortise locks. Just remove the existing handle set or knob set from the door, fit the XS4 Mini and you are done.

XS4 One Euro

The SALTO KS XS4 One is the evolution of the Original model with a built-in, totally new reader available in two colours. It includes the latest electronic components to offer both reliability and future proof compatibility.

It is specially designed to fit most Euro profile doors, even narrow profile-framed doors. This version also works with the majority of European mortise locks and cylinders.

It offers a large number of models, versions and finishes making it suitable for most applications.

XS4 Original ANSI-US

The XS4 Original escutcheon for ANSI mortise locks is specially designed to be compatible with most ANSI mortise locks and tubular latches. It is specially designed for use on busy, high traffic doors that need additional strength and provides an ideal and reliable solution for outdoor, as well as indoor, use.

It offers a large number of models, versions and finishes making it suitable for a wide range of applications.

XS4 Mini ANSI

The XS4 Mini ANSI provides a simple and quick way to replace and upgrade existing traditional knob sets with a state of the art SALTO KS electronic access control system.

A robust, reliable and compact size electronic lock, the XS4 Mini ANSI for cylindrical or tubular latches has been designed to meet ANSI A156.2 Grade 1 or 2 cylindrical latch requirements.

The XS4 Mini ANSI is available in different versions and finishes suitable for almost any application.

XS4 Original Nordic

The XS4 Original Nordic version is specially designed to fit most Scandinavian profile and narrow profile framed doors and to work with standard Scandinavian mortise locks and cylinders.

It offers a large number of models; versions and finishes making it suitable for most applications, with specifically designed models available for high traffic doors, emergency exits etc.

XS4 Mini Nordic

The SALTO KS XS4 Mini for Scandinavian mortise locks has been designed to easily retrofit indoor mechanical doors with an easy to install and cost effective electronic escutcheon. Just remove the existing handle set or knob set from the door, fit the XS4 Mini and you are done.

XS4 WALL READER

Description

The SALTO KS Wall Reader incorporates the cutting-edge design standard of the XS4 2.0 product range. In combination with the SALTO KS Controller, it facilitates the expansion of SALTO access control benefits to all those doors where a stand-alone electronic lock cannot be fitted, i.e. barriers, lifts, sliding doors or electronic gates, to provide your facility with a complete security solution.

It offers a large number of models; wall reader, wall reader plus keypad, mullion wall reader for narrow profile frames, or panel readers to implement on intercoms, etc.

Tag

You can always use your smartphone to unlock doors, but as a second credential you can also use Tags. A Tag is a physical device (contactless key fob) that works based on RFID. With a built in secured chip, an opening can be triggered by directly presenting the Tag to the lock.

A Tag replaces that ring of keys, and grants designated access to employees, guests or even cleaning services whenever it’s appropriate for them to enter. Simply assign a Tag to a user, and define when and where that Tag can go.

IQ

IQ is the central hub of your site. It receives all changes and settings from the SALTO KS application and ensures that all locks are updated within seconds. The IQ serves as the brain of your site, connects your wireless locks to the cloud and can be extended by adding additional repeaters if needed.

Repeater

A repeater is an extension in case the signal doesn’t cover the distance between IQ and locks. A maximum of 6 repeaters can be connected to an IQ, either directly to the IQ or through another repeater (for up to 3 layers).

Rules:

It’s not possible to have BLUEnet locks directly under an IQ 2.0. with a BLUEnet repeater
It’s possible to add locks underneath every type of repeater as long as they have the same technology (RFnet repeater + RFnet lock / BLUEnet repeater + BLUEnet lock)
There’s a max of two BLUEnet repeaters underneath a parent IQ/repeater * There’s a max of six RFnet repeaters underneath a parent IQ/repeater
Both technologies are able to host three levels deep (Six per technology)
